Welcome Back, Chef Clinton !!

Clinton Jones is returning to Dolce Amici after a successful Summer at camp. He spent the summer as Head Chef at Waterford’s Wigwam Camp for Boys, where he showed the staff and campers that camp food doesn’t have to be boring, and now he is here in Norway, Maine to share his creativity and experience with those looking for a great meal.

Chef Clinton has spent almost all of his life in California (minus a year in Portland, Oregon) learning techniques and flavor combinations so that he could share them with guests looking for something more than the mundane. He always says, “I’ve cooked for a lot of people, in a lot of places, for a long time, and I try to go where I can help the most and feed the people that need it.” His past ventures have had him cooking in sports bars, fine dining restaurants, universities, hospitals, casinos, computer programming campuses, and on film and commercial sets. For more than a decade he owned a catering company in the Los Angeles area, and for a while, a Mac & Cheese Food Truck that landed him on Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race in 2019.

Immediately prior to moving to Maine, Chef Clinton worked in the mental health field for several years as a private residential chef at both an eating disorder treatment clinic and a Malibu substance abuse treatment ranch. He believes that good food is a form of healing, and that cooking with care can improve anyone’s life… even a little bit.
